dom refuerzo (they/he)

is a Filipinx-American and queer artist currently based in the so-called San Francisco Bay Area. They have premiered their music compositions in Austria and across the so-called United States. More locally, he has sung with New Voices Bay Area TIGQ Chorus and AfterGlow Chorus. They graduated from Emory University, where they developed their music composition style with mentorship from Adam Mirza. His undergraduate career culminated in receiving highest honors for his thesis recital, The First Flight.

Recent theatre credits include Duck Soup (Bindlestiff Studio/Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center), Tiny Fires (Custom Made Theatre Co/CounterPulse), and Lizard Women (Awesome Theatre). They have also acted with Cutting Ball Theater, the Chikahan Company, Theatre Rhinoceros, and The Pear Theatre. In September 2024, Dom will make their directing and playwriting debut with Bindlestiff Studio's Stories High festival.
