Dom Refuerzo (they/he)

is a Filipinx-American and queer artist hailing from the Pacific Northwest and currently based in Ohlone land (the San Francisco Bay Area). Earlier this year, they starred as Ren in SFBATCO's world premiere of cuckoo edible magic and Hyun-Joo/Bartender in Theatre Rhinoceros's west coast premiere of Gumiho. He also made his playwriting and directing debuts last year with Stories High 2024 at Bindlestiff Studio. Other theatre credits include Found Family (Left Coast Theatre Co), Escape to QueerTopia and Duck Soup (Bindlestiff Studio), Wildfire (Z Space), Variety Pack (Cutting Ball Theater), Tiny Fires (Custom Made Theatre Co/CounterPulse), and Lizard Women (Awesome Theatre).

As a musician, they have premiered their music compositions in Austria and across the so-called United States. More locally, he has sung with New Voices Bay Area TIGQ Chorus and AfterGlow Chorus.

They graduated from Emory University, where they developed their music composition style with mentorship from Adam Mirza. His undergraduate career culminated in receiving highest honors for his thesis recital, The First Flight.
